December TBR

For once in my blogging life, I set myself a TBR goal in November and I actually achieved it! Hurrah! So with that in mind, I’m going to set myself another realistic goal of 5 books that I want to read in December and that will allow me to complete my 2015 goodreads challenge too!

The Storied Life of A.J Fickery

I bought this book with the book voucher my brother gave me for my birthday and I keep saying it’s going to be the book I read next. Well it’s definitely going to be the book I read next (I’ll be reading it when this post goes live). The premise of the book sounds like exactly what I want at this time of the year!

Dream a Little Christmas Dream by Giovanna Fletcher.

I’m going to break my book buying ban for this little novella. Who doesn’t want to read a Christmas story about a good book by one of their favourite authors to get them into the Christmas spirit? I’ve been eyeing this up for ages but I’ve been sticking to my book buying ban. Ah well, I’m sure I’ll be getting more books at Christmas anyway!

Allegiant by Veronica Roth.

If I’m being honest I only want to read this last installment so I can clear the trilogy from my shelves before the start of the new year. I’ve not enjoyed the series terribly much but they’re quick and easy reads which is what I need to complete my goodreads challenge. Tactical reading, I think.

The chocolate Lovers Christmas by Carole Matthews.

I was given an advanced copy from Netgalley to review but I’ve only just found myself in the mood for Christmassy reads so I thought I’d add this one on the list. Who doesn’t enjoy chick lit at Christmas? I’ve no idea if I should have read all the others in the series before picking up this one but hey ho, we shall see!

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.

If I’m going to complete the trilogy again, I should at least complete it all in the same year. I should be able to fly through this book to get my reading goals completed.

What are you all reading this month? I’m about to delve into the Storied Life of AJ Fickery! So far, I’m loving it!
